About the job

We are looking for a client-focused experienced telephone triage support assistant to join our ever expanding team. This role is our front line contact, answering our busy helpline and dealing with a range of tasks, such as managing clients waiting times and expectations, arranging and co-ordinating appointments with both generalist and specialist advisers, taking and relaying messages and providing administration support to our Session Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills. You will have relevant experience, excellent customer service skills and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work as well as a sound knowledge and proven experience of databases, websites, social media and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Committed, results-driven and supportive to the needs of others, you work well within a team and are willing to follow and develop agreed procedures.

We are expanding our team and are looking for a client-focused individual with experience of providing welfare benefits advice, to join us as a Multi Digital Adviser. In this role you will help ensure our clients get the support they need face to face, by telephone, e-mail, video conferencing and webchat in locations throughout Dundee.

The successful candidate will demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge of the wider welfare benefit system including Universal Credit, demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills. We are also looking for a proven ability to work effectively and well organised. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including case management systems, online claims’ services and Microsoft Office applications is essential. We are seeking a client focused, enthusiastic and experienced Debt/Benefits Case Worker to join our ever expanding team and help us deliver a high quality advice service to the people of Dundee. The successful applicant is expected to deal confidently with the public and to work flexibly as a member of the team responsible for overall service delivery.

You will demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge of the wider welfare benefit system and debt remedies, demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills.

We are also looking for a proven ability to work effectively and be well organised. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including case management systems, online claims’ services and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Committed, results-driven and supportive to the needs of others, you work well within a team and are willing to follow and develop agreed procedures.

Experience in a Citizens Advice Bureau or Welfare Rights setting would be an advantage.
