We are currently recruiting two new trustees to our Board from November 2021. It’s an exciting time for the charity as cycling levels increase around Scotland and we work with our members, our many partner organisations and our funders so that cycling plays its part in tackling the Climate Emergency, public health crises and other challenges we face as a nation.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Communications and Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and evaluate effective communications activity to support our charitable objectives. Reporting to the Head of Communications this is a key role managing a small team within the wider Communications, Policy and Monitoring team.

This role is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced communications and marketing professional who is confident delivering results across the full spectrum of communication disciplines. You will have experience of developing communication plans, working at a senior level and using a range of channels and tactics to influence a wide range of audiences.

We are currently recruiting for a Monitoring Assistant on a 12-month, fixed term contract. Supervised by the Monitoring and Development Officer, the Monitoring Assistant will help the organisation to understand cycling behaviour and trends in Scotland. The Monitoring Assistant will contribute to two of Cycling’s Scotland’s key monitoring projects: the National Monitoring Framework, primarily by providing support with data processing and analysis, and the Active Travel Open Data portal.

Development Officer - Education

We are currently recruiting for a Development Officer to join our team and help deliver Cycling Scotland’s behaviour change and training programmes, expanding the successful Cycling Friendly Award and Development Grant programme. Reporting to the Behaviour Change Manager, the successful candidate will have lead responsibility for activity in the education setting and manage the development and delivery of Cycling Scotland’s behaviour change and associated projects to get more people cycling.

The post is based in Glasgow. Following Scottish Government guidance, we are currently home working.
