We are seeking an experienced and competent practitioner to join us in providing high quality and effective services across our organisation.
Based in Stirling and Falkirk and working across Forth Valley, as a qualified counsellor you will be passionate about recovery and have a good track record in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions. You will be competent in undertaking assessments, participating in and facilitating group work and working with service users to develop effective recovery plans. Working under tight deadlines you will be comfortable with multi-agency working and being part of a dynamic organisation that has recovery at its heart.
You will have a recognised professional counselling qualification at a minimum of SVQ level 4 and have a recognised award in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and be familiar with the SSSC Codes of Practice for employees and employers.
We provide a range of counselling, community rehabilitation & recovery focussed services for people affected by substance misuse to help them on their recovery journey. We are seeking an experienced and competent practitioner to join a new service with our partner agency Circle in supporting women affected by substance misuse and who have complex needs.
Based in Alloa and working across Clackmannanshire and Stirling, as a qualified counsellor you will be passionate about recovery and have a good track record in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions. You will be competent in undertaking assessments and capable in working flexibly and offering support on an outreach basis for women who struggle to engage with conventional service delivery. You will be comfortable with multi-agency working and be committed to working as part of a new, innovative service.

We are seeking someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about recovery and who has a good track record in promoting successful recovery development work, peer support and community development initiatives. A self-starter, and a highly skilled communicator, you will be pivotal in developing good links between treatment & support services, Forth Valley Recovery Community (FVRC) and aftercare provision. Employed by ASC, you will be comfortable in working with a range of stakeholders to develop and champion a robust recovery orientated system of care that has peer development at its heart.
