We offer vital advice and information to people and their families, delivering support services in the community. We believe everyone has the right to live life to the full, so we are committed to influencing public policy to ensure those affected get the services they so badly need. We are looking for a talented Graphic and Web Design Officer to join our marketing team, and build upon the success of our design work across all of our channels and assets. We are looking for a creative mind who can channel their ideas through our brand to create visually compelling design work that promotes every aspect of our life-changing work.

The post holder will work with internal clients to bring creative concepts to life. To do this they will deliver high quality production ready artwork for print and digital, to use in our shops and community hubs, at fundraising events, in advertising and across a range of print; on social media platforms and our website. They will also manage the work of the graphic design team, and make sure the Apple hardware and associated software is always in shape to deliver.

We are looking for someone with strong graphic design credentials, and the ability to work in a fast paced department. If this is you and you would enjoy producing emotionally impactful designs to contribute to our exciting targets as a charity, we would love to hear from you.

The role of the Stroke Educator is to plan and deliver appropriate and evidence based training in stroke for health and social care staff, internal staff and service users. The service is provided in partnership with NHS Grampian and the stroke education team and aims to ensure all individuals caring for people affected by stroke have the suitable knowledge, skills and confidence to fulfil their role and enhance the quality of services.

We are seeking an individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills, is motivated and has a good knowledge base of current stroke care. Candidates must have a first level nursing/ AHP qualification and evidence of continued professional development. The successful candidate will work as part of a CHSS education team and will receive full induction and support upon commencement of this role.

Please note the post's location is negotiable within Grampian area.

Rehabilitation Support Coordinator - Moray & North Aberdeenshire

Demonstration of a positive attitude towards people with disabilities, the ability to recruit, manage and motivate a team of volunteers, excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required to fulfil this role.

We are recruiting for the post of Health Defence Coordinator, who will be integral in delivering our new and exciting Health Defence Programme. They will be supported by and work closely with the Health Defence Lead and wider team.

The vision for the CHSS Health Defence programme is to be the face of prevention, raising awareness of risk factors for our conditions and supporting behaviour change to modify risk factors. This work aligns closely to the Public Health Priorities for Scotland.

The Health Defence Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of pilot 1 of the Health Defence programme based out of the CHSS Drumchapel Hub and wider Glasgow. This includes delivering health checks; healthy lifestyle workshops; and supporting lifestyle change to reduce the risk of our conditions in local communities, particularly where there is a high prevalence of health inequalities and deprivation. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the delivery of other CHSS Health Promotion activities if and when appropriate.

We are seeking an organised, motivated individual with good communication skills and who has experience in Public Health and an interest in health inequalities. Candidates must have an Allied Health Professional/First Level Nursing qualification or qualifications in Health Promotion/Public Health; and have evidence of continued professional development.

Access to a car is essential.
