We are looking for a Knowledge and Learning Manager to join our team which supports and enables colleagues in our Scotland Directorate and grantholders to reflect on, share and learn from our funding. Supporting a team to capture evidence of impact, policy and practice from internal and external sources will be the focus of this role. You’ll also provide advice to colleagues and decision makers on how funding can achieve greatest impact.
The National Lottery Community Fund (previously The Big Lottery Fund) is the largest community funder in the UK-we’re proud to award money raised by National Lottery Players to communities across the UK. Last year we gave out £50 million to over 1100 projects across Scotland.

About the role
The Knowledge and Learning Manager role will lead a small, dynamic team to create and share knowledge and learning from the Fund’s work in Scotland. You will set out approaches and strategies to ensure this work is high quality and influential, and you’ll support others in the team to achieve the same high standards. Developing strategies and approaches to capture evidence and learning, knowledge of policy and good practice from internal and external sources will be vital in this role. You’ll spend time facilitating organisational and individual learning, and leading activity in themes of particular relevance. You’ll drive improvements across policy and practice, enabling learning and continuous improvement in the National Lottery Community Fund’s funding offer.
You’ll be passionate, curious and tenacious. You will be a flexible and confident manager. We are particularly interested in creating a more diverse workforce, who really understand the communities we work with.
