Could you be the Link between a child and a brighter future?
Link Education International works in Ethiopia, Malawi and Uganda to transform lives through learning. We work in collaboration with communities to help them become more resilient and to escape the cycle of poverty. We do this by focusing on raising standards of teaching and learning in schools, as well as building life skills and promoting inclusion for the most marginalised.
We are now seeking a Fundraising Officer to join our Fundraising and Communications Team and to help raise vital funds for our work.
Reporting to the Development Manager, the Fundraising Officer will work across all areas of fundraising, but will have a particular focus on supporting bids to trusts and foundations, and administrating our individual giving programme.
Fundraising experience is not essential, but an enthusiasm for our work is.
The successful candidate is likely to have strong administrative and communication skills, a passion for research, and a flair for writing, and they will share our vision of a world where every child receives a quality education.
If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you.
Our international office is based in Edinburgh and all staff are currently working from home. We are open to home working on a permanent basis, though occasional travel to Edinburgh may be required.
