To support the development and delivery of services, supervising the staff, volunteers and operational delivery of PDA aims and objectives. The successful candidate will have local knowledge of Pollokshields and its communities and services in the area and able to represent PDA at strategic networks whilst developing supportive partnership with other agencies/services.

PVG is required in supporting young, elderly and other vulnerable groups in the area. Three years’ community development, high level of administrative, community development and fundraising skills required.

Financial Inclusion Project Coordinator

With funding from Bank of Scotland Foundation’s Invest Grants Programme, Pollokshields Development Agency(PDA) are pleased to be recruiting a Financial Inclusion Project Coordinator to address financial vulnerabilities faced by the local community in Pollokshields and surrounding areas.

PDA is a community organisation based in the heart of Pollokshields. PDA has been providing services and activities for the community for over 30 years.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who believes in community empowerment, has experience of community development, with strong networking and communication skills and experience of organising community events and workshops. Being able to speak a community language is essential.

The post will focus on engaging with community members in particular those from BAME communities who are struggling with financial issues, networking with local organisations and developing the Project in line with community needs. Importantly ensuring a high-quality service in line with the ethos, values, protocols and service standards of Pollokshields Development Agency, relevant legislation, funders agreed outcomes and local / national objectives.

With funding from Comic Reliefs Global Majority Fund through CRER, Pollokshields Development Agency(PDA) are pleased to be recruiting a Youth Facilitator to work with BAME young people in the local community in Pollokshields and surrounding areas.

PDA is a community organisation based in the heart of Pollokshields. PDA has been providing services and activities for the community for over 30 years

The post will focus on engaging with young community members in particular those from BAME communities, with the aim of achieving the formation and delivery of an active, ongoing Youth Forum for Pollokshields and the wider Southside area. Ensuring a high-quality service in line with the ethos, values, protocols and service standards of Pollokshields Development Agency, relevant legislation, funders agreed outcomes and local / national objectives.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who believes in the empowerment of young people, has experience of community development, with strong networking and communication skills. Being able to speak a community language would be an asset.
