Third Sector, Dumfries and Galloway is a third sector interface and is funded by the Scottish Government and Dumfries and Galloway Council to meet four objectives: supporting and developing a strong third sector; developing social enterprise; developing volunteers and volunteering; and, connecting the third sector to community planning.
The purpose of Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG) is to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged within Dumfries and Galloway. This Senior Engagement Officer post is vital to manage TSDG’s services and relationships within health and social care. This involves working directly with voluntary organisations and statutory partners, in particular the health and social care partnership.
We are looking to recruit an excellent communicator with a firm understanding of health and social care at national and local levels.
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG) works with third sector partners and public agencies to support voluntary organisations and our local communities. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Digital Inclusion Officer to work as part of our management team. You will create and deliver our strategic approach to digital inclusion in this large rural area where digital exclusion is a real barrier to growth and well-being. TSDG has a central role to play in breaking down this barrier by working with local communities to identify the impact of digital exclusion and enabling the third sector to respond through additional funding and support. Volunteers will play a major part in delivering our digital strategy.

The Engagement Officer (Funding) is vital in providing information and expertise about funding opportunities to the team and the wider third sector. We are looking to recruit an excellent communicator who has a methodical and organised approach to gathering, collecting, managing and disseminating large amounts of information.
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway’s vision is to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people and communities in Dumfries and Galloway by working in partnership with third sector organisations and public sector agencies. We now require an organised, professional, pro-active person to provide executive support for the Chief Executive. We are looking for someone with a helpful, ‘can do’ attitude, a problem solver with excellent communication, time management and customer care skills.
