As the successful candidate for this position you will have significant experience of fundraising and writing grant applications. In addition, you will be able to offer basic training in the objectives of the organisation to external bodies and agencies. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has good knowledge of the charitable sector and is sympathetic to the aims and ethos of Richmond’s Hope, which offers bereavement support to children and young people aged 4 – 18 years through the medium of therapeutic play.
Richmond’s Hope will provide a comprehensive induction programme, including introduction to our methodology. As Fundraiser, you will develop our fundraising strategy and work closely with the Chief Executive in fostering good relationships with funders and seeking new corporate sponsors . As a member of the Management Team you will also assist with smooth running of the Glasgow Office, where this post is based. As Training Officer, you will be responsible for offering an introduction to the work and ethos of Richmond’s Hope to other professionals and interested agencies.

A DRIVING LICENCE AND USE OF CAR IS DESIRABLE
Richmond’s Hope provides support for children and young people aged 4-18 who have experienced bereavement. We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who will direct our Bereavement Support Workers (BSWs) and support them in their work.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with children and young people and of building and leading a team. We are looking for someone who has good understanding and experience of the therapeutic benefits of play and either experience of working with bereaved children or skills that are transferable to bereavement support.
Richmond’s Hope will provide a comprehensive induction programme which will include training in the methodology of Richmond’s Hope. As Team Leader (Bereavement Support) you will carry out supervision, support and training for our Bereavement Support Workers based across Central Scotland. Working as part of the Management Team of Richmond’s Hope you will be responsible for building the team, supporting and enabling BSWs in the work with bereaved children. You may also carry a small caseload of children seeking support.

Working as part of the staff team of Richmond’s Hope (primarily in Edinburgh, but may include other areas of Eastern Scotland) they will provide bereavement support to children and young people aged 4 to 18 years.
