The Role
We have two exciting roles to support delivery of community engagement work across Fife.
Role 1 will support the Head of Creative Development on developing and delivering a long-term commitment to community engagement based on the Of/By/For All Relevance approach, across three pilot areas in Fife; Kirkcaldy, Levenmouth and Lochgelly.
You will ensure communities are engaged and supported to have their say about services and issues that affect them, ensuring that their views and perspectives inform OnFife’s local service delivery. Identifying and acting on opportunities for meaningful engagement and co-creation that bring audiences into our venues and connect with our services.
You will support a core team of OnFife staff taking part in community engagement training, leading on the development of a framework for community-based relevance using learnings from the training and own experience to spread effective community involvement practices across OnFife.
As the remit of this role is spread between Kirkcaldy, Lochgelly and Levenmouth, you need to be able to travel to these locations regularly.
Role 2 will support the Exhibitions & Community Engagement Manager on developing and delivering community-led events and activities based on the Of/By/For All Relevance approach, across Levenmouth.
You will ensure communities are engaged and supported to have their say about services and issues that affect them, ensuring that their views and perspectives inform OnFife’s local service delivery. About You

Trustee Vacancy
The role of the Board is to offer strategic guidance, challenge, and support to the Chief Executive and senior managers and provide input and scrutiny that ensures OnFife is a well governed charity that is working to provide engaging and meaningful services to our communities in a way that is significant and sustainable. In addition to supporting the organisation through Board membership, Trustees are asked to give their time and expertise to one of our Committees (HR or Finance and Audit).
We are looking for trustees who have experience of effectively leading change through people within either the private, public or the third sector, and who are also able to bring an understanding of strategic and business planning and working effectively with a range of stakeholders. This need not be within the arts and culture sector, but an understanding of the cultural sector and/or a passion for the arts would be advantageous would be advantageous.
Director Vacancy
Our Trading Subsidiary is responsible for our income generating activity that we undertake to support our charitable work and aspirations. Our café, bar, retail, rental and event services are our key areas of delivery and we welcome Directors who can provide industry experience and knowledge that can help shape our strategic direction and give challenge and scrutiny.

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide leadership, support and expert guidance to internal colleagues and partners in a way that will enable and support the delivery of OnFife’s financial strategies and ensure we continue to deliver quality cultural services in Fife.
The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll use your professional financial expertise to provide strategic guidance and support, building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with the Board, Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team at OnFife. Engaging with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll support budget holders to help develop their annual budgets as well as analyse and interpret financial performance to guarantee good governance is maintained. Working with the Head of Finance, you’ll ensure that the financial management of OnFife is done in adherence with all statutory and regulatory requirements, whilst providing financial clarity to inform decision making and action.

The Successful Candidate
We’re looking for a collaborative and commercially focused finance professional with the experience to support strategic delivery across a large organisation. Of graduate calibre with supporting CCAB professional qualification or QBE to an equivalent level with professional qualification, you’ll demonstrate extensive generalist finance knowledge and expertise across all disciplines including the charity sector and be able to support non-financial managers to understand these disciplines and apply them in their own work.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. The Role
In partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and as a member of the Improving the Cancer Journey network in Fife, the Macmillan Project Officer will implement volunteer-led Cancer Information and Support Centres across OnFife Libraries.
As well as helping to design and launch four support centres, you will be responsible for creating partnerships with other cancer support organisations, and for promoting the service to support workers and to people affected by cancer across Fife. You will also help establish a strong volunteer network to become the core of the service and work to embed the service within OnFife and explore potential future developments.
This role will require evening and weekend work on occasion. Although you’d normally be based at our Head Office in Kirkcaldy, we are currently working from home, with a move to a Hybrid Working model coming soon. You will also be required to work at any of our venues throughout Fife as needed for the project.
