The British Liver Trust is looking to recruit a Development Officer to join our field team in Scotland to deliver our awareness and patient support work across the Highlands & Grampian region, starting immediately.
This part-time position working 22.5 hours per week is offered as a fixed-term contract until the 31st October 2021 with the potential to be extended subject to funding.
The British Liver Trust is the leading UK charity working to improve liver health. Liver disease is the only one of the five big killer diseases that continues to increase.
The main purpose of this position is to:
- Facilitate the creation, development and delivery of British Liver Trust support groups for patients within the Highlands and Grampian region
- Arrange and undertake awareness raising activity and events across the Highlands and Grampian region to promote increased knowledge of liver health and the steps people can take to reduce their risk of developing liver disease
The role will be home based and involve travel to the Highlands & Grampian region and occasional travel throughout Scotland.
