Challenging Violence Against Women: working with men
Community InfoSource has been working, since 2006, with marginalised people to overcome the barriers they face to integration, and supporting them to put their own ideas into action. Four of our eight directors came here as refugees and the others have worked in this field.
Purpose of the post: To provide strategic advice and support to the “Challenging VAW: working with men” Project Manager
1. Providing support for the Project Manager
2. Providing support for the strategic development and delivery of the Project
The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for developing our new Buddy Programme for asylum seekers under threat of eviction who are being supported by Preventing Asylum Seeker Evictions (PASE), a part of the W-ASH Project. The coordinator will develop policies and procedures and recruit, train and coordinate a network of volunteer buddies who will work with asylum seekers under threat of eviction.
