Project Worker - Choices for Change Project

  • Part time
  • £28,089 – £30,707 pro-rata
  • Glasgow
  • Closing 12th December 2019

Thenue Housing Association is based in Glasgow and provides high quality housing to over 3,000 tenants and owners in six areas, mainly in the east end of the city. We have always gone beyond our core housing responsibilities to address the wider needs of our communities and are currently recruiting a Project Worker for our Choices for Change project.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual from a community development background to support the Project Coordinator in delivering Choices for Change. The project supports people who are lonely and socially isolated and is built around a 10 week personal development course delivered in partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College.

Responsibilities include delivering life-skills training to course participants as well as assisting in the recruitment of course participants, assessment of training needs and project monitoring. An additional responsibility will be enabling participants to shape course content to match their needs and aspirations.

You will have relevant community development experience, preferably gained in a similar environment, have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload. You will have a full current driving licence.

In return, we offer an excellent package including a competitive salary, a Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 15 public holidays pro-rata.

Thenue aims to be an equal opportunities employer.
