Drumduan School (Steiner/Waldorf school) is situated on the edge of the small town of Forres in Moray in the north of Scotland. The school has wonderful views of the nearby sea and is only a short distance from the majestic Cairngorm mountains, dense forests and the rivers Spey and Findhorn.
We are a small school taking in pupils between the ages of 3 and 18. We do not test our students, nor teach the National exams, in order to fully cover the Steiner/Waldorf curriculum in all its richness throughout the school. However we do offer an officially recognised accreditation assessment system in the 4 upper school years by means of which our students can access further education on leaving the school.
Our growing school is looking to appoint the following part time teaching staff to start in August 2022. Our ideal candidate would have Steiner Waldorf experience; cover 1 or more of the vacant areas; live in the locality or be happy to relocate and must be eligible for GTCS (General Teaching Council of Scotland) registration, ideally for secondary education.
Please note:
All age groups and teaching sessions can only be approximate depending on the applicant's experience, ability, qualifications, personal interest and availability to slot into the new school year timetables.
