A new position, we are looking to recruit an administrative assistant to support the work of our Finance Team.
If successful, you will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger by collating and organising all invoices received, ensuring that invoices have been authorised correctly, processing authorised invoices through the ledger, and ensuring payments are made on time. In addition, you will be required to update the cash book on a daily basis, process all income and expenditure through the ledger, and carry out additional administrative tasks as required.
You must proficient in Excel, have good numeracy and accuracy skills, and have the ability to organise and manage your own workload. Previous experience of working in an office environment, and a finance team, is preferred but not essential, as is knowledge of the social rented sector and previous experience of using housing software.

As a customer facing role, they must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbally. If successful, you will work to ensure that Rosehill’s properties are properly maintained and improved by having responsibility for processes such as cyclical, planned maintenance and major repair works. In addition, you will also work to provide an effective and efficient reactive repairs service.
You must have previous, relevant experience in the construction industry and possess a relevant building qualification. A working knowledge of tendering processes is an essential requirement for the role as is experience of monitoring expenditure against project budgets, and of post contract management. You must have the ability to interpret and appraise architectural and engineering drawings and have a sound knowledge of relevant construction legislation.

A vacant position, we are looking to fill the role of Factoring Co-Ordinator to form part of our Finance Team.
If successful, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of factoring services to approximately 200 homeowners.
You will act as the main point of contact for owners regarding all aspects of the factoring service and ensure that owners are kept informed and always consulted. In addition, you will be responsible for all relevant financial transactions, including preparing and issuing of invoices, the implementation of debt recovery procedures and attendance at court for arrears recovery. Dealing with complaints from factored owners in line with Rosehill procedures is also an aspect of the role.
You should have an excellent knowledge of Scottish factoring legislation, as well as knowledge of
property title deeds and deeds of conditions. The ability to communicate effectively is essential as is experience of IT systems, including MS Office. A relevant factoring qualification is preferred but not essential.
