A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us as Director of Finance and Corporate Services. This is a key role within our organisation as you will be part of our Senior Management Team, working to provide leadership, management and support to the finance and corporate services team in the delivery of effective financial management, treasury management, governance and compliance, human resource, IT and the corporate service function of the Association.
The focus of the role is:
Experienced at a managerial level, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across our organisation including with colleagues and our Management Committee. Membership of a relevant membership body (CIH or ACCA, ICAS, etc) and experience within a regulated environment is also sought. You should have experience in leading and developing high performance teams and be able to assist in the development of strategies which relate to the Association.

In 2021, the three Local Housing Associations within Govan worked together in order to provide energy advice services to local people with this original project coming to an end in Spring 2023. This partnership, known as ‘GEL’, comprises of Govan, Elderpark and Linthouse Housing Associations and between them own and manage over 4000 properties in the area.
Due to the association being successfully awarded new funding through the Energy Redress Fund, we have an exciting opportunity for a Community Energy Project Lead to join us on a two year fixed-term basis as part of this new Govan Community Energy Team which will seek to provide education, advice and engagement on all aspects of energy advice to our local residents.
The key aims of the post will be to support our Govan residents to live in a warm and comfortable home at the lowest possible cost by maximising opportunities to reduce energy consumption and minimise heat loss. It will be essential that the candidates have a strong community presence and are able to build working relationships with local partners along with having the skills to motivate and line manage a small team ensuring the outcomes of the project are met.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Educating people about their household energy consumption, heating controls and their energy bills
• Providing advice on fuel debt, benefit claims, income maximisation, advice on fuel tariffs, payment options and energy efficiency measures
• Carrying out home visits to gather information on energy use and provide advice on reducing energy consumption
• Collecting data on changes in energy consumption from home visits
• Work with the local community to deliver workshops, focus groups and events which provide advice on energy consumption
• To manage, support and develop the Community Energy Advisors
The GEL Partnership are seeking individuals who have excellent communication skills, who can demonstrate empathy and use their problem solving skills to deliver a dynamic customer focussed service. Full training will be provided and the successful candidates will be assisted in attaining a recognised City and Guilds qualification.
Please note that the successful candidates will be employed by Elderpark Housing and will work collaboratively across the three Housing Association localities and Community Partner venues.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Elderpark to recruit a Customer Services Adviser.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Services Adviser to join our fast paced and exciting Customer Services team. With customer focus at the heart of everything that you do, you will the opportunity to make a real difference to our local community and to people’s lives. You will respond to a range of telephone and face-to-face enquiries, with the aim of resolving these at first point of contact. You will have the opportunity to enhance our customer’s experience of our service and seek out opportunities to continuously improve customer services. You should be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and be empathetic and caring. In addition, you should be able to prioritise your workload, have a good level of IT skills and have the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience of working as part of a team within a customer services environment would be an advantage.
