Administrator & Volunteer Liaison Officer

Home-Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator & Volunteer Liaison Officer to join their growing service.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde promotes the welfare of families with at least one young child, helping to build strong families and prevent family breakdown. The successful candidate will provide operational administrative support across all functions of Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde, and relationship and administrative support to our volunteers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all enquiries, responding to the majority and sign posting to colleagues and other organisations as necessary.
  • Provide all aspects of administrative support for a small, dynamic and fast paced organisation.
  • Conduct all data input as required for the purpose of the role.
  • Assist in volunteer retention practices.
  • Responsible for all social media administration and input.
  • Support the Scheme Manager in the administration processes for funding awards.
  • Support the Family Support Co-ordinators in the administration and liaison requirements with our volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a minute taker at meetings as specified by the Scheme Manager.
  • Administer petty cash and expenses in line with our procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist and support the Scheme Manager in all office management requirements including supplier liaisons.
  • Any other duties that that required to fulfil the needs of the organisation.

Home-Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join their growing service in Inverclyde.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde promotes the welfare of families with at least one young child under 5, helping to build strong families and prevent family breakdown. The successful candidate will be based in Greenock and will provide operational administrative support for Home-Start’s Inverclyde service. You will have administration experience in a work related capacity together with excellent IT and communication skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide all aspects of administrative support for a small, dynamic and fast paced organisation.

• Conduct all data input as required for the purpose of the role.

• Contribute to social media administration and input.

• Support the Family Support Co-ordinators in the recruitment and administration of our volunteers and volunteer training.

• Maintain accurate records.

• Administer petty cash and expenses in line with our procedures and maintain accurate records.

• Assist and support the Senior Coordinator in all office management requirements.

• Any other duties that that required to fulfil the needs of the organisation.
