Upmo is currently recruiting for a skilled Finance Manager to join our team.

The Finance Manager will join our dedicated Corporate Services team to provide the essential function of managing and maintaining all financial records and systems (currently Xero), as well as the preparation of financial analysis to ensure a secure future for our organisation.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and experienced individual who can demonstrate financial management experience and leadership, as well as practical knowledge across all areas of financial management.

Curriculum Development Manager

Upmo has an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Development Manager to join our team.

This role will support the creation and installation of a new and enhanced curriculum to provide a positive education experience as well as meaningful outcomes for our students. The Curriculum Development Manager will provide hands-on support to our facilitators, offering advice and training to develop skills within our team.

The position is well suited to an applicant educated to SCQF Level 9 or above, with experience of working within the social care and/or third sector. This is a full-time position with a fixed term contract of 2 years, salary £30,000 per annum.

Upmo is a charity operating in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian, providing support and opportunity for adults with learning difficulties, autism, and additional support needs.

Every week, we encourage our students to build confidence, use imagination and develop life skills through music, drama, art and other expressive and physical activities.

As we are expanding our provision to create new opportunities for young disabled people in Edinburgh, we are recruiting for new staff to support the delivery of our services. We are seeking to recruit a variety of staff, with a range of skills and experience – a background in teaching or facilitating, especially in music, drama, IT/digital skills and the creative arts, is especially desirable.

The role includes supporting students in workshops and working one to one with students, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves supporting people with personal care, as and when required.

We are recruiting for full time (minimum 30 hours per week; up to 35 hours available) posts. Upmo is a Living Wage Employer; the rate of pay for this role is £9.60 p/h.
