Leuchie House provides high quality respite breaks with 24-hour expert nursing care for people and their families living with long-term physical conditions, such as MS, stroke, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's, Motor Neurone Disease and cerebral palsy.

We are continuing the expansion which we began a year ago, adding a Fundraising Manager to our team. You will be supported by our Head of Fundraising and Communications and directly manage a team of 3 highly motivated and successful Fundraisers, who are specialists in their field and supported by a Fundraising Administrator who has a high level of data management expertise.

Leuchie House has invested significantly in technology and environmental controls to enable our guests to maximise their independence during their respite break. We are now driven by a desire to have a lasting impact, beyond the short break. We want to use technology to reduce the cost of care, for the individual and for society at large.
We are looking for a leader who will bring together the work that has been completed on this project so far and deliver our vision to become the National Assessment Centre for Enabling Technology.
The position will attract an expert in the use of technologies which maximise independence. As well as this healthcare knowledge, you will need to be an expert project manager and a passionate advocate for individual independence.

Leuchie is a sociable place and many of our guests return regularly - spending time with them and getting to know them is a key part of the job.

We are seeking a Guest Engagement Manager to create a diverse programme of individual and group activities within and out with Leuchie.
You will lead a small team and work closely with the other teams across Leuchie, to ensure a highly tailored programme meets or exceeds the high expectations of Leuchie’s guests.
Leuchie House is all about ensuring guests have a great time when they are with us. In this way their carers can have a break away from their loved one, knowing that their loved one is having at least as good a time as they are.
Our highly skilled nursing and care teams enable guests to have that great time and enjoy a diverse range of activities.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 6 equivalent Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team.
As well as providing one-to-one and group physiotherapy for guests, you will also be working with our multi-disciplinary team of nurses, Occupational Therapist and Enabling Technology team to help maximise our guests’ independence, improve their quality of life and comfort and help them plan for their future.
You will help guests participate in physical indoor and outdoor activities and support them in the use of specialist equipment, such as wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Liaising with NHS professionals and working collaboratively with the team are key to this role as you help create positive relationships with guests, relatives, GPs, and other agencies associated with Leuchie House.
This is a part-time, permanent role working 21 hours per week. Times of work can be flexible to suit the individual.
To succeed in this role you will:
• Be a qualified physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Have experience in working with people affected by long-term physical conditions
• Have an aptitude to engage with people affected by and a genuine interest in long-term neurological conditions
• Be a competent and confident IT user with the ability to organise own workload
• Strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and team interaction skills
• Have a positive, professional and reliable can-do attitude
• Have a flexible approach and attitude to working hours and tasks to be completed
• Manual handling skills in line with current Health & Safety legislation
• Be a good problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for meeting deadlines
• Be highly organised with attention to detail
