GCU Students Association exists to represent and enable GCU students to enhance all aspects of their student experience. We are an award winning Students Association. We were the first Students Association to have received the NUS Scotland University Students Association of the Year Award in 2011 and the first Students Association, within the modern Scottish universities, to have achieved the Student Union Evaluation Initiative Award.

Executive Assistant

We are recruiting for an Executive Assistant. This is a varied role supporting our elected Full Time Officers and Chief Executive. The main tasks are organising the diaries of the Full Time Officers, clerking meetings, organising travel and planning times that the Officers will engage with the members. You should have a positive, welcoming and can do attitude and have previous experience in an administrative role. Maintaining confidentiality is a key attribute for this role. We are interested in capable employees of any age and welcome applications from people from a range of backgrounds. We are happy to support you in developing your knowledge about our Students' Association. We want to foster a diverse and inclusive working environment.

Employees receive 38 days annual leave (that includes 13 bank holidays) and we have other enhanced benefits and policies to support employee wellbeing, care responsibilities and flexible working. This includes our offices closing over the Christmas period. This post holder can apply to work within our Flexi-Time Policy, however you will be required to work 8 evenings throughout the year. Our location is handy for Buchanan Bus Station and Queen and Central Station.
