We seek an experienced outdoor and multi-skilled senior project worker to develop and support our Youth Vision team. This exciting post offers a unique opportunity to work with vulnerable young people in the nature-based informal education setting of our 18th Century restored farm steading in the Pentland hills.

Working alongside the field manager you will support, develop, and run various projects at Youth Vision. You will be involved, in developing and processing current and future funding strategies along with evaluation procedures. You must have experience of lead facilitation with staff and volunteers as well as working with vulnerable young people and volunteers.

The Role:

Support and work alongside Field Manager running and supporting all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organising and running groups at Threipmuir farm steading as well as in the community
• Managing and supervising the facilitators and volunteers
• Managing the evaluation of the projects, measuring, and disseminating the outcomes
• Supporting and following up current funders and feedbacks.
• Producing monthly progress reports and attending appropriate meetings
• Overseeing the delivery of outcomes, tracking of achievements and progression of young people, facilitators, and volunteers.
• Managing Youth Vision’s Policies including child protection, safeguarding and risk assessment.
