NEILSTON-UPLAWMOOR COMMUNITY LINK : SUSTRANS PLACES FOR EVERYONE

The Neilston to Uplawmoor Community Link project is working to provide this off-road, fully accessible route in East Renfrewshire, stimulating safe, active travel within the area and beyond.

We need an experienced, self-starting consultant, committed to widening equality, to work in the community to build participation in the design and local ownership of the route. A strategy to encourage behaviour change is also part of the brief.

The project is community-led by Neilston and Uplawmoor Development Trusts, working with East Renfrewshire Council and Sustrans, the national walking, wheeling and cycling charity.

The post will be short term, with potential for extension. The post-holder will be expected to work flexibly. Its scope will be shaped by the programme.
