The Health, Safety and Sustainability Team work across all companies within Hillcrest providing support, advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to health, safety and environmental management.

This position is a pivotal role in the business, helping to support the growth of a positive and dynamic health, safety and environmental culture. The post holder will maintain open communication with key stakeholders to support company objectives and provide solution focussed advice to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations across Hillcrest.

Queen Mary Avenue provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week residential support to 8 female individuals who have a variety of support needs including mental health and addiction issues. All individuals have previously been homeless or have been threatened with homelessness.

The aim of the Communications and Media Team is to support Hillcrest to communicate in the best way it can which includes both internal and external customers.
The Role
As a Communications and Media Assistant you will:
· Be creative with excellent design skills;
· Have great ideas on how to communicate innovatively;
· Have an attention to detail that ensures a busy workload is manageable;
· Focus on designing and editing print and digital materials;
· Produce promotional films and photography;
· Manage the company’s website and intranet.
You Will
· Have experience creating high quality photography and video material;
· Have excellent IT skills including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional desktop publishing software and PDF writer software;
· Be a competent user of social media and social media management systems
· Be a self-starter with the ability to work to deadlines under pressure.

Named as the third largest developer of social housing in the UK in 2020/21, a further 1400 homes will be completed over the next three years.
