INSP (International Network of Street Papers) is a Glasgow-based charitable organisation that supports and develops a network of more than 100 street paper organisations (like the UK’s Big Issue magazine) in 36 countries worldwide. INSP works closely with its network of member street papers to deliver projects and services which support the effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the network and the street paper network. Street papers are a solution to urban homelessness, poverty and unemployment; they are bought and sold by vendors to provide them with the means to earn an income and lift themselves out of poverty.

The Administration & Support Officer will be a key member of our small team, overseeing data management, administration, systems and IT functions in order to support our member support and communications, projects and events.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent IT literacy and experience, including strong skills in CRM management. The right candidate will have strong organisational and time management skills and a commitment to attention-to-detail, accuracy and professionalism.

The Relationship & Fundraising Manager will lead on building relationships, developing and delivering INSP’s fundraising strategy. It is a strategic and operational role, which will be critical to the sustainability and financial health of our organisation.
We are looking for a candidate with drive and creativity who is willing to work with a level of autonomy, and also able to work closely with our passionate and creative staff and board team. The candidate will lead on building a fundraising culture for INSP and will be prepared to work with us to build the systems to manage this.

We provide a range of specialist support, resources and technical assistance to our network, including an international news agency for street papers. We also bring our members together to provide peer-to-peer support, and exchange ideas, resources and best practice.
The Membership and Communications Manager will lead on INSP’s membership support and engagement work, and on all communication and marketing activities, with a focus on increasing engagement, reach and impact.
Main duties:
Member support & engagement:
a) Implement and develop INSP’s member support and engagement strategy.
b) Manage and develop member communication (including regular email newsletters and social media engagement), to maximise engagement and build strong relationships with members.
c) Facilitate remote and face-to-face meetings to support strong peer-to-peer relationships within the network.
d) Coordinate and develop INSP’s online resource hub for members, including sourcing, collating and writing resources.
e) Proactively manage membership development, including responding to start-up support and membership enquiries.
f) Oversee the annual membership renewal and survey process.
g) Conduct regular research, monitoring and reporting on membership.
h) Maintain a good knowledge of issues that affect the work of INSP and our members.
External communication:
a) Implement and develop INSP’s marketing and communications strategy.
b) Manage all communications and marketing efforts, with a focus on increasing INSP’s brand awareness and raising the profile of street papers.
c) Manage INSP’s social media platforms, with ambitious targets for increasing engagement and reach.
d) Manage, develop and write content for INSP website and email newsletters.
e) Monitor and evaluate metrics and analytics to inform strategy development.
f) Write and design (or commission) publicity and reporting materials including the annual report, presentations and event marketing.
g) Represent and act as a spokesperson for INSP as necessary.
Project and event management:
a) Lead on the organisation of INSP events, including the international Summit, regional member meetings and other PR and fundraising events as required.
b) Manage the planning, evaluation & reporting of projects and events.
Management & administration:
a) Manage relevant project staff, interns and volunteers.
b) Manage relevant membership and communications databases (Salesforce) and administration.
c) Monitor media coverage relating to INSP and membership activities.
d) Maintain a good knowledge of issues that affect the work of INSP and its members.
e) Perform other duties as required.
