VASA are looking for a forward thinking, highly motivated and confident person to lead and develop volunteering across South Ayrshire.
This post will focus on leading the creation and implementation of an effective Volunteer Strategy for South Ayrshire by supporting the Scottish Governments Volunteering Framework and contributing to the organisation’s wider Business Plan, working in partnership with volunteers, H&SCP, Local Authority and other partners.
Your role will also include supporting the Third Sector in South Ayrshire to develop their volunteering capacity and sustainability. You will also be leading a small team of volunteering support staff, managing VASA volunteers as well as the development of the Saltire Awards, helping to instil the values of volunteering within young people.

Are you comfortable interviewing volunteers and potential beneficiaries via Zoom, What’s App etc.
VASA are looking for a part- time Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, support and match a team of volunteers to two services that are supporting those suffering as a consequence of the COVID lockdown, helping them to regain their confidence and reconnect.
Initially this post is for six months, however it may be extended if proven to be successful and funding is available.
