We are currently recruiting a full time Engagement Manager, based in our Edinburgh office (with hybrid working) on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role involves working as part of the Engagement Team to deliver engagement and inclusion activity across Scotland including stimulating and supporting the flow of good quality applications and contributing to and implementing outreach strategies targeted at Heritage 2033 priorities. You will be inspiring, leading and resourcing the heritage in Scotland, via strategic partnerships, engagement and investment of National Lottery income, harnessing other funding and opportunities in support of the heritage.

Flexible Working
The National Lottery Heritage Fund has offices all over the UK and we champion a flexible approach to working where this supports our business needs. We have formally adopted a hybrid working approach. This means that most employees will work from their contracted Heritage Fund office twice a week at minimum. Time spent on site visits to projects or other meetings based at another Heritage Fund or external office are counted as part of those two days. The other days in the week employees may work from home.

This varied and rewarding role as part of the Investment Team is to support our diverse and creative heritage sector through the assessment of a wide range of grant applications, making clear recommendations to decision makers. The role is also to offer advice and support to grantees so that they can complete their projects successfully; sharing best practice and encouraging innovation. We are seeking individuals with the ability to assess and present information effectively, the ability to work to deadlines and a flexible approach to their role.

The primary purpose of this post is to work as part of the Investment Team to manage and deliver investment activity across Scotland, including providing advice and guidance to applicants; assessing and monitoring a wide range of applications and projects, in particular those that are large scale and complex; post completion work; participating in outreach activities and supporting the delivery of the Scotland team plan; contributing to the wider work of the Scotland team.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Marketing & Communications Manager (Scotland) on a permanent contract based in Edinburgh.
The marketing team is responsible for pro-actively promoting our work to people who play The National Lottery, those who apply for our funding and other stakeholders such as the heritage sector and public bodies. You will be a communications all-rounder, with roughly half your time spent on marketing and half on media relations, PR and social media. You will be confident to develop and deliver marketing plans and tactics to support our work in Scotland, driving new business through activity across multiple channels. In addition to a specific Scotland focus, you will also work closely with colleagues in our central communications team, supporting and directly developing a range of corporate and UK-wide activities.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Engagement Manager on a fixed term contract until March 2022, based in Scotland. We are also happy to consider external secondments from relevant organisations for this role.
The primary purpose of this post is to work as part of the Engagement Team to deliver engagement and inclusion activity across Scotland, including stimulating and supporting the flow of good quality applications; working in Areas of Focus as required; and contributing to and implementing outreach strategies targeted at Strategic Funding Framework (SFF) priorities. The role will have a particular focus on inclusion and connecting our funding with a wider range of audiences (including Minority Ethnic and Cultural Communities, Young People, LGBTQ+ audiences or People with disabilities).
