The Chair will typically be active for 1-2 hours per week, plus attend scheduled board meetings in Edinburgh (or virtually) every 6-8 weeks and an annual AGM. The Chair will provide leadership by ensuring that everyone remains focused on the delivery of Wellspring’s charitable purposes and will plan and manage the annual cycle of board meetings in liaison with the Office Supervisor and Clinical Managers.

This is an exciting time to join Wellspring – we are looking for an experienced Business Manager to review our current business model and work with the Board to develop Wellspring to thrive into the future. Our clinical services are excellent, we have a small but brilliant team but we are missing a leader to oversee the day to day operations, develop the business and plan for the future.
The position will be fixed term for one year initially but there may be scope to extend this following the implementation of a new business plan that the Business Manager will play a vital role in developing.
You will have experience of developing and implementing successful business development strategies, leading teams and a proven ability to think strategically whilst also able to oversee day to day operations. Experience of working in a similar organisation would be an advantage but is not essential.
