As a Project Worker you will be required to create and deliver a structured programme of Employability related activities in line with North Ayrshire Employability Pipeline services.

As a Project Worker, you will be responsible for:

Delivery:
- To be responsible for the delivery of ESF Programmes and services as contracted. These programmes must be delivered as per ESF operational guidelines set out by North Ayrshire Council.
- Assess individual learners’ progression needs.
- Lead workshop sessions to prepare volunteers for progression e.g. what opportunities are available, volunteer work placements relevant to interests, etc.
- Promote project to potential participants, partner services and placement providers.
- Identify suitable education or employment opportunities for volunteers.
- Work 1:1 and in groups with participants.
- Monitor and record progress of individual learners using online systems.
- Support other team members.
- Work to agreed targets and strategies.
- Liaise with partner services to support the partnerships and participant progression.
Quality:
- Increase number of progression outcomes from current average.
- Ensure reporting is of the required standard and delivered within the timeframe requested.
- Maintain professional relationships with staff, participants and external agencies.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.
- Be proactive in matters relating to Health and Safety and Child Protection.
- Report any concerns to Employability Team Leader.
- Administer and maintain resources.
- Attend supervision, team meetings and staff days.
- Obtain and review feedback from participants regularly.
- Up hold The Ayrshire Community Trust code of conduct.
Development:
- Be proactive and innovative in devising new routes of progression.
- Review and develop current work experiences and practices.
- Share new ideas and practices to enhance provision.
- Fully participate in creative meetings and discussions towards development opportunities.
- Respond to team and organisational developments as required.
- Develop new relationships with local organisations and partner agencies.
- Initiate new strands of progression opportunities for participants.
- Support internal colleagues and external partners in the development and delivering of the Employability Programme.
Please note: Normal working week Monday-Friday with some evening and weekend work on occasions.
Role – To be part of a small team delivering the Link Up community development project in North West Kilmarnock.
Main Duties – Link Up is a ground-breaking community building and wellbeing programme that has made significant impact in communities facing deprivation and disadvantage across Scotland. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing and facilitating community-led projects using an assets-based methodology; empowering people/groups to develop ideas and to address issues and opportunities; engaging and communicating with people and groups.
The role will be based in the Nwkleus Community Centre (Onthank, NW Kilmarnock) but involves working across North West Kilmarnock.

Co-Leaders will be required to work collaboratively with their counterpart, the Board of Directors and third sector partners. They will lead the sustainable development and operations of The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT), ensuring the organisation continues to:
- Deliver demonstrably effective, high quality, continuous service improvement, in line with agreed operational plans and objectives.
- Develop the organisation as a value driven, vibrant, adaptable, resilient and sustainable enterprise third sector organisation in line with agreed development plans.
Co-Leaders will have the shared responsibility for the management, development and strategic leadership of The Ayrshire Community Trust
The role is responsible for engagement with appropriate stakeholders and groups to support the organisations’ ongoing development. This will include nurturing positive relationships between Third Sector partners.
The role will also provide support and direction to the development of a Community Wealth Building approach enabling TACT and third sector partners to gain an understanding and opportunity to benefit, working with Local Authority and other members of the Community Planning Partnership and the Private Sector.
Co-Leaders will build positive, sustainable working relationships across all sectors and ensure the views and needs of the third sector are well articulated.
