Charity registered in Scotland SC007410
The National Trust for Scotland is an independent charity set up in 1931 for the preservation and conservation of natural and human heritage significant to Scotland and the world.
The Trust has gone on to become Scotland's largest membership organisation and a leader in conserving and promoting the nation's treasured places and collections so they can be enjoyed by present and future generations.
The Customer and Cause team exists to inspire visits to our places across Scotland, grow membership and drive donations to support our work.
Purpose of the role
The wider purpose of the role is to help drive the National Trust for Scotland’s ability to conserve Scotland’s built and natural heritage under its care.
The specific purpose of the role is to support the development and implementation of fundraising operations to help maximise fundraising income, improve efficiency across all income streams and provide assistance to the wider team in terms of financial, data and process support.
You will work with colleagues within the fundraising team, the wider teams within the Customer and Cause Directorate and those teams in other directorates in which fundraising will work closely with. You may on occasion work with appointed agencies which will provide outsourced support to the Fundraising function, and play a key role in database and administrative support.
The National Trust for Scotland is looking for a member to join our Board. Our Trustees are crucial to the work of the Trust and collectively, their backgrounds, skills and experience reflect the diversity of the organisations activities.
This year, we want to reflect the diversity of our membership and seek more candidates who can join our other Trustees in demonstrating a commitment to the Trust and our work. Now more than ever, we need people who can help us with decision-making through these difficult times and for recovery in the aftermath.
