Exciting opportunity for a senior counsellor/ psychotherapist, with professional clinical management and quality expertise.

The Senior Counselling Clinician will be a versatile, self-motivated, results-oriented professional responsible for contributing to clinical quality assurance and holding clinical operational oversight across the business.

As Senior Counselling Clinician, you will provide strategic/operational leadership and provide advice and guidance on clinical quality matters and service improvement. You will be adept at working collaboratively across the organisation to develop and implement clearly defined strategies with tangible processes and measurable outcomes. You will proactively contribute to writing and deliver clinical professional development training.

An effective communicator, negotiator and influencer, you will be comfortable enabling change management with stakeholders at all levels as well as building effective relationships with external organisations such as BACP and other academic and voluntary sector organisations. You will have a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Exciting opportunity for a senior individual with professional clinical quality expertise and outstanding leadership skills to support the development of quality standards, guidelines, clinical pathways, and clinical audits.

As Clinical Director, you will provide strategic, operational and corporate leadership and provide advice and guidance on clinical quality matters. You will be adept at working collaboratively across the organisation to develop and implement clearly defined strategies with tangible processes and measurable outcomes. A key member of the Leadership team, you will be both partner and coach to your peers.

You will be instrumental in the delivery of externally commissioned clinical quality projects and programmes and manage the totality of the department and programme budgets. Calling all Counsellors - immediate availability - come and join the healthier and happier revolution!

We have immediate availability for qualified and experienced Counsellors (contracted) and Associate Counsellors (self-employed on guaranteed hours)

Roles are for 3, 4 or in some cases 5 days per week (21 – 35 hours). Initially a 6 month fixed term contract with opportunities for permanent contracts thereafter.

Counsellor Grade 5/5a (£24,500 - £29,000) pro rata (Associate Rate £18.50 per hour) (salary placement dependent on qualifications, experience and accreditation status and Associates must be Accredited)

You must have:

- A recognised Diploma in Counselling

- A member of the BACP (or current member of a suitable equivalent registration body, and willing to become a BACP member within an agreed time frame – normally 6-12 months.

- A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential

- Excellent IT skills and be comfortable with use of mobile technology

Ideally you will have:

- Experience of delivering time limited, solution focused approaches (SSW; 4:8 model)

- Demonstrable experience of working with a range of client types and presenting issues

Experience of recording comprehensive client progress and improvement data, preferably using recognised clinical / outcome focused tools (CORE, SDQ, GBO, SHANARRI etc) and processes.
