Project Coordinator/ Young Persons Development Worker

Thanks to five years funding from Corra Foundation, Rosemount Lifelong Learning are looking for a highly capable new team member to work with us to develop, deliver and assist in co-ordinating the day to day operation of the Family Links Service adopting a whole family approach in supporting families who have been affected by addiction issues

You will work with young people offering help & advice to support Young People to challenge and overcome their fears, have a voice at home, school and in their local area.

You will have a minimum of 3 years working with people affected by addiction issues a relevant qualification or personal lived experience in dealing with addictions.

You will be required to be a confident, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to manage caseloads and work independently. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with a wide range of individuals, third sector and statutory organisations..

A current driving licence would be advantageous.

Finance Manager

Young Parent Coordinator

Do you want to work in a project that is led by young Parents?

Rosemount Lifelong Learning are looking for a highly capable team member to work with us to support the development of our Young Parent project. The Coordinator will support young parents to take ownership of the project and assist them with the design and delivery of workshops. It is essential that the post holder has a good understanding of the issues affecting Young Parents who might be excluded or marginalised and demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to people’s emotional wellbeing.

The Coordinator will also provide support advice & guidance to young parents who want to progress into employment, education, or training.

You will be qualified to SVQ Level 4 in a related discipline or be able to demonstrate experience of working with individuals to identify and address barriers to progression.

You will be required to be a confident, highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual with the ability to manage caseloads and work independently. You will also need to be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with a wide range of individuals, employers and agencies.

A current driving licence would be advantageous, and you should be proficient in Microsoft office packages.

An opportunity has arisen within Rosemount Lifelong Learning for a part time (14 hours per week) Family Relationship Counsellor to work with and provide support for families affected by addiction and living in NE Glasgow. The post will sit within the Family Links team and is funded at this time until end April 2022.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Family relationship Counsellor with experience of working with children, young people and families who have experienced the impact of parental substance misuse. Together they will explore negative and harmful thinking & behaviours within families and assist them in positive change. The post holder will support individuals and families to develop healthy coping strategies and working through difficulties in relation to separation, loss and recovery.
