Wellbeing Scotland is a community-based organisation working with impact on Wellbeing from life circumstances comprising a range of specialist services under the Wellbeing Scotland umbrella.

We are looking to appoint an appropriately skilled individual(s) to a new post of Through Care and After Care Wellbeing Worker. This is a new pilot project, to provide community-based wellbeing support to some of our most vulnerable young people, (aged 16 - 26).

The post holders will work alongside Social Work to identify care experienced young people who have left school and require support in a community setting. A key aspect of the post will also involve developing partnerships with groups that support young people in the Clackmannanshire area and building relationships with young people.

You must hold a qualification in counselling and or psychology or equivalent. In addition, you should have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and experience of working with young people. You should be creative, offer flexibility and with the ability to innovate.

In addition, you will hold be a member of the BACP or COSCA, British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT) or Play Therapy UK (PTUK or any other relevant.

Although not essential, access to a car would be preferable given the nature of this post. The post will be based in Bathgate but will require travel around West Lothian, as required.

We would welcome a candidate with an (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) EMDR qualification. We work with over 140 volunteers every year and now require a Volunteer Co-ordinator to support volunteers within Wellbeing Scotland. This role will provide recruitment, training, and ongoing support for volunteers within Wellbeing Scotland.

You should have experience of managing volunteers, with excellent administration, communication, and IT skills. We are looking for an individual who can work as part of a team. Experience of using online platforms is also essential.

A qualification or experience in administration and a qualification or relevant experience in community development, social care, counselling, education, or equivalent is desirable.
