2 x Women’s Support Workers (Accommodation)

WAEML provides information, support and accommodation to women (including trans-women), children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse. If you can commit to upholding the rights of women, children and young people, this may be the job for you.

We have 2 x full time (35 hours per week) vacancies for experienced support workers. You will also be expected to work with a multi-agency approach and your case load will include individual and group work support.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years work experience. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to a minimum of SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.

The post is available on a fixed term contract until June 2020 (Extension funding dependant). Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential.

We are looking for 1 x FTE Women’s Support Worker’s to join our dynamic team to work on a multi-agency project. This role will specifically deliver support to women with co-occurring domestic abuse and substance misuse issues.

We have 1 x full time (35 hours per week) vacancies for an experienced support worker. The majority of case work will include supporting women with co-occurring domestic abuse and substance misuse. You will also be expected to work with a multi-agency approach and your case load will include individual and group work support.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years work experience within the violence against women or substance misuse field. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to a minimum of SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.

This post is funded by the Big Lottery and is available on a fixed term until August 2021. Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential. We are happy to chat about flexible working.
