We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative person to help lead on the LGBT Charter Programme in schools and organisations. As the LGBT Charter continues to grow throughout the country, we are building a team of passionate people to ensure we can meet demand. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of an innovative programme that is creating positive change in Scottish schools and organisations.

Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, alongside the National Programmes Team you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting the LGBT Charter programme to grow sustainably, achieving impact in more communities as we expand across the country
  • Be a key leader in supporting the LGBT Charter team in the delivery of the programme to schools and organisations in Scotland

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative person to help us research and deliver the next version of ‘Life in Scotland for LGBT Young People’. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of the biggest piece of research in Scotland on LGBT young people, cutting across many aspects of their lives. This research will influence policy and strategy at the highest level.

Working from home, or in our Glasgow office when restrictions allow you will:

  • Play a central role in developing our research ‘Life in Scotland for LGBT Young People’
  • Review previous iterations of the research and work across teams to ensure questions are user friendly and accessible
  • Analyse collected data and report the key findings, and work with the team to input to the next published report

As a Youth Worker, you will play an important part in helping us deliver our youth work services in Edinburgh. You’ll join our East team, delivering our youth work provision face to face and through our ‘Pride and Pixels’ Discord platform.

As this post involves direct work with young people, if you do not hold a membership already, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland if successful at interview.

The Charity will complete these checks with you. Your employment will be confirmed after successful PVG, references and right to work checks.
