Inverclyde Community Development Trust (The Trust) focuses on providing support that encourages and nurtures people and communities. We take a community development and regeneration approach to build and increase capacity within the community that responds to locally identified need. The Trust is looking to recruit a suitably experienced person for the post of Volunteer Coordinator.
Inverclyde Community Development Trust plans to increase volunteering across our community projects and we are looking for an experienced coordinator to push this work forward. This project will also provide support to a wide variety of people throughout Inverclyde who want to volunteer with us. You will also work alongside our existing project staff promoting volunteering across The Trust and help create new volunteer roles.
We are looking for a coordinator who can develop our approaches to volunteering and increase the opportunities for volunteering across all the Trust’s community projects. The post holder will run all aspects of the project so must be highly organised with excellent communications skills
Inverclyde Community Development Trust (The Trust) focuses on providing support that encourages and nurtures people and communities. We support people to gain employment through our employability services, including the ability to upskill through our SQA Accredited Centre. The Trust is looking to recruit a suitably experienced person for the post of Employment Support Worker.
The main purpose of this job is to ensure that the employment support needs of all clients are met across the stages of the employability pipeline and that the provision delivered is quality assured. This approach will focus the client on their individual job goals using initial assessment and an agreed action plan to develop and demonstrate their employability through training & skills development. This work will extend to include outreach work where appropriate.
This post is a fixed term contract to 26th March 2021. The successful candidates for these posts will be subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme check.
