Fresh Start's mission is to help people make a home for themselves. From our 2 bases in Edinburgh we provide services to those who have experienced homelessness and we have four key aims: • To enable people who have been homeless to resettle in their community. • To provide volunteering opportunities that offer practical and emotional support to our clients. • To help our clients develop life skills • To involve church members and the wider community in our work to end homelessness The charity’s aims are achieved through services that are delivered in three categories: Provision of Goods; Social and Practical Support; and Employability. The services are delivered throughout Edinburgh and support over 2,000 households per year.

Fresh Start provides support to people who have previously been homeless through the provision of goods and services. Our Services are offered at the stage when clients have been offered a tenancy, with the services being delivered by volunteers who provide clients with practical and social benefits.

The Corporate Community Fundraiser will help Fresh Start develop partnerships with corporate supporters, community groups and maximise income opportunities through a variety of different mediums. The CCF will develop robust, long term relationships with partners and assist them to identify maximum use of their corporate social responsibility to create an environment that offers added value to all of Fresh Start’s services and developments.
