We work with adults with disabilities or long term conditions to ensure they are having a full say in decisions that affect their lives. The service is free and anyone can make a referral to us if they have concerns about a person. Please look at our project pages for more information.

Advocacy Worker

Equal Say has been providing advocacy for people with disabilities since 1995. We want to recruit a new worker for our project in North Lanarkshire working mainly with people with addictions issues.

If you have knowledge or experience of any of the following, we want to hear from you:

• Providing advocacy or representation to marginalised people

• Experience of working with people with addictions

• Experience of casework in a community setting

• Autonomous working within a small team

• A passion for inclusion and natural justice

We offer 37 days holiday (pro rata FTE), 6% matched pension, travel allowance, company mobile phone and flexible working.

We want to recruit a new worker for our project in North Lanarkshire working mainly with people using Self-Directed Support (SDS), based in our Wishaw office. This post is funded through the Scottish Government SDS implementation strategy until April 2021.

If you have knowledge or experience of any of the following, we want to hear from you:

· Experience of working with Self Directed Support

· Experience of casework in a community setting

· Autonomous working within a small team

· A passion for inclusion and social justice
