We are a charity based in Broomhouse, Edinburgh and we are looking for a counsellor who has a Diploma in Counselling and has experience of working with children and young people. The role is to provide counselling with children referred by our partnership secondary schools, other statutory bodies and internal services. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and is good at forming relationships with children and young people with a range of presentations, providing short and medium term counselling. The candidate needs to be able to work together within multi-disciplinary teams, be able to liaise, give and receive advice and support within the schools the young people attend, as well as in the youth team within Space.
This post is initially for a 6-month period and likely to be extended subject to funding.

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our senior management team within The Broomhouse Centre. Reporting to the CEO, this role will provide robust financial management for the charity as we enter a new and exciting phase in our 27-year history.
We are a growing charity with big ambitions and this role will be critical in helping us to achieve our aims. During the summer we will move into our new £3.2 million Broomhouse Hub allowing us to support more people within the local and wider Edinburgh community, from children & families, through to people with dementia. We also run a busy venue, café and catering social enterprise.
The Finance Manager will provide strategic and operational support to the CEO, Trustees and Senior Management Team as well as overseeing the financial systems and processes. Therefore, the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, have extensive financial management experience ideally within the charity sector, strong commercial acumen, whilst being able to demonstrate support for our values. We would also be interested in speaking to any finance consultants who would like to consider this role on a part time basis (2 days per week), with support from a Book-keeper.
