The Scottish Bible Society is committed to delivering a range of exciting, innovative Bible-based resources to both equip and inspire church communities and individuals, in Scotland and around the world. In order to grow the effectiveness and impact of our mission, we are looking to expand our fundraising team. We seek someone who is passionate about the message of the Bible, adept working with internal and external stakeholders, analytical and strategic, with experience of networking, comfortable building relationships with Mid- and Major-range donors.

With newly refurbished premises and plans progressing toward a repositioning of our brand and messaging, we seek to appoint an experienced creative to lead and manage our in-house Communications Team. You will play a significant role in shaping how the charity promotes its mission and activity for both existing and new audiences.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced comms specialist with some management experience to grow in a Third Sector context – developing a brand, overseeing production, shaping strategy to promote a range of resources and fundraising initiatives with partners in Scotland and abroad.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will plan and manage a range of marketing materials through integrated campaigns across print and digital – leading, supporting, inspiring your creative team to ensure scheduled delivery of projects, on time, to budget, with (primarily) a Scottish Christian audience in view. You will guide and champion the Society’s brand and communications strategy, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
We’re looking for a people manager with an eye for clean, clear design who can analyse the detail, build a strategy, and deliver results – a seasoned professional with working knowledge of desktop publishing for print and digital platforms, who can lead and inspire with confidence and clarity.
