The Policy and Engagement Lead will play a key role in influencing across parliament, local government and business audiences. Our flagship Allies programme aims to create a network who help to collectively deliver and promote the feasibility and desirability of transition to a Wellbeing Economy, and you will coordinate and support our Allies to promote Wellbeing Economy messages to various levels of government and other policy audiences. You will collaborate in various activities to support both practice and policy changes.
WEAll Scotland has a strong external profile and you will represent the network externally with key stakeholders from business, government and civil society. You will present at events and will also support key voices from within the core team and network to be heard at external events.
You will support evaluation and monitoring across the organisation, and will create useful summaries of the impact of work which is in support of a Wellbeing Economy, enabling Allies to contextualise this for their specific work. You will also guide the work of WEAll Scotland by horizon scanning, alongside the Communications Lead.
The Communications Lead role is responsible for the internal and external communications for WEAll Scotland. WEAll Scotland has a strong external profile and you will represent the network externally with key stakeholders from business, government and civil society. This role is a part of our flagship Allies programme, which aims to create a network of allies who collectively deliver and promote the feasibility and desirability of transition to a Wellbeing Economy You will be responsible for creating an external communications strategy and delivering this for the programme.. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering on an internal communications strategy, ensuring high quality communications across the Board, the Core Team, Associates and volunteers, who collaborate to support both practical and policy changes. You may use a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool to achieve this.
You will build relationships with key journalists across Scotland which will maximise the profile of our work. You will create (and support the creation of) content for external events and the media, by working with the Core Team, Associates and volunteers, as well as designing and hosting events, seminars and press conferences. You will also manage our social media channels using your communications and social media skills, and support the redevelopment of the WEAll Scotland section of the wider global WEAll website.

Love Letham is a pioneering project supporting children, young people, families, local residents and organisations like Perth & Kinross Council to work together to create a shared local vision of what children and young people need to flourish, as well as a plan to deliver it.
By bringing children and communities together with decision makers we’re creating a shared roadmap that captures what matters most to people.
As we kick off the next phase of Love Letham we're looking for a new member of the team to drive the project forward.
If you're passionate about children and young people having a say in the decisions that affect them and you're great at building relationships this new role could be for you.
About the role
The Project Lead will play a key role in driving forward the Love Letham project. This project has set up a Commission and regularly convenes them to cocreate and explore wellbeing priorities, and to ensure that these wellbeing priorities are addressed and resourced locally. The ultimate goal is to deliver a wellbeing budget in Letham.
The Project Lead will support our specialist freelance associates, who are participation experts, in the running of the project. They will be responsible for building relationships with local stakeholders and liaising with the Commission and the local authority as well as booking rooms and travel, writing update reports and maintaining our website. They will ensure excellent communications with all stakeholders throughout the project. They will provide regular updates to the director and occasionally liaise with our funder.
WEAll Scotland has a strong external profile and you will represent the organisation externally, on occasion. You will support the delivery of regular Commission meetings in Letham.
You will also work closely with a new role, an Early Years Participation Lead.
