Reengage looks to inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation. A fantastic opportunity exists for an Engagement Officer to join the team and drive forward the charity’s work in Scotland. As Engagement Officer your role will be to recruit older people and volunteers, and to raise awareness amongst the public, voluntary sector and identify key partners and referral agencies across Scotland.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and older people. You will have experience of working with different sectors to form partnerships and be comfortable in articulating the charity and its mission to potential partners. You will be able to engage with new guests and attend groups (where needed) across Scotland when required. You will lead and motivate others, to give constructive feedback on their performance and to provide ongoing support, guidance and development and mentoring. Experience in delivering and implementing community projects would be an advantage however not essential for the role.

The charity focuses on the support that is needed now to help those affected by blood cancer cope during a diagnosis and beyond. An exciting opportunity exists for a Regional Coordinator to join the charity. As Regional Coordinator within your region (Scotland), you will be responsible for managing all activities e.g. support groups, identifying local opportunities; raising awareness of the charities services with healthcare professionals caring for blood cancer patients. This is an excellent opportunity if you wish to develop your career in patient support and services. It is a fixed term contract for 3 years with possibility for a permanent role, working from home and visiting locations in Scotland.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be committed to supporting patients, carers and family members. You will be highly IT literate having a solid understanding of MS Office, Teams, GoogleDocs and Zoom. Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills are essential for this role. Working within the charity sector or with cancer patients would be an advantage however not essential. You will also need a full UK driving license.
