SCOREscotland is looking for skilled and experienced Sessional Youth Workers who are passionate about engaging with young people and supporting them to make progress.
We are looking for youth workers who are available on Friday afternoons, Saturdays. The beauty of being a sessional worker is you can vary your hours from weekly to monthly sessions. Our group ages are: 7-10 years old, 11-16 years.
We are based at WHALE Arts Centre, Wester Hailes but we take our young people throughout the city and beyond.
SCOREscotland works in partnership with others to address the causes and effects of racism and to promote race equality. We aim to break down barriers to the full participation of black and minority ethnic communities in all aspects of civic life.
We are looking for skilled and experienced Digital Inclusion Officer to support local black and minority ethnic (BME) families to become/remain digitally connected with the organisation and the wider world. The post holder will also manage SCOREscotland’s presence on social media sites including but not limited to our webpage, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Are you confident with a wide range of social media platforms? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Do you have qualification in IT, Computing or Social Media?
Purpose of the Position:
To develop, manage and deliver SCOREscotland’s services. We are a voluntary organisation serving the black and minority ethnic communities in the West of Edinburgh, based in Wester Hailes.
