covid:aid is the UK’s national charity dedicated to supporting all those significantly affected by Covid-19.

We launched in May 2021 as the UK’s national charity for all those hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic, growing significantly month on month. (Read our monthly summaries to find out more about what we’ve been up to.) We are looking to continue this growth as we equip ourselves to help people in the longer term across a variety of Covid-related issues including Long Covid, grief and bereavement, trauma, and much more.

We are looking for an outstanding Operations Manager who is flexible and highly capable of ensuring our continuing growth through being able to take on a diverse number of roles.

This is the chance to make a difference at an extremely important time – as a new and growing charity your impact will be significant, with enormous potential for learning and development.

With a small team, this role will power the charity through driving us forward in key areas such as volunteer management, fundraising, and policy development. This is an ideal position for somebody who likes to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up while also being able to make decisions which will have a fundamental impact on our long-term capability as a significant national charity.

The role will also ensure efficient and effective management of organisational resources, systems and processes that will enable covid:aid to provide extra support for those hit hardest by Covid-19 in the UK. You will be leading on operational issues such as financial administration and information management.
