Community Action Lanarkshire, part of The Rural Development Trust are looking for a new Heritage Project Officer funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver the North Lanarkshire Rural Heritage Programme across five rural communities.
The post will engage a wide range of audiences in exploring the heritage of five rural communities; Caldercruix, Greengairs, Harthill, Plains and Upperton. The Project Officer will examine the community, industrial and natural heritage assets and develop a heritage plan for each area which reflects existing community and regional plans.

The post will work with the communities to deliver projects identified in their Community Led Plans, examples of projects identified are active travel, heritage, village improvements and many more.
