St Andrew’s Church of Scotland: Carluke has an exciting opportunity for someone with a track record of excellent administrative skills to become a key part of the support for and development of our Hub for people living with dementia (including early onset dementia) within Carluke and beyond.

We are looking for someone with great organisational skills, a creative flair for promoting the support we offer and an eye for detail in producing reports for our funders and securing further funding for the continued development of our work.

As a skilled administrator you will play a key role in the development of our Hub which has its ethos strongly rooted in our Christian faith but extends a warm welcome to anyone needing our support – including carers and families of people living with dementia.

This is a part time post for 18 hours per week based at the Church (or at home depending on government guidelines) Core hours will be 10am-4pm over three days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) at an hourly rate of £11- £13, depending on qualifications / experience.

St Andrew’s Church of Scotland: Carluke has an amazing opportunity for someone to become part of our team to provide continuity of support/advocacy to people living with dementia and their carers in Carluke and beyond.

Working as part of a team and collaboratively with other partners and agencies, you will assist people living with dementia to identify their needs and access appropriate support services.

The role will also include supporting and training our committed team of volunteers, who play a key role in the variety of activities we provide as part of a developing Hub of support for people living with dementia and their carers.

The postholder will require to have excellent knowledge and insight into the needs of people living with dementia through professional qualifications or lived experience.

You will play a key role in the development of our Hub which has its ethos strongly rooted in our Christian faith but extends a warm welcome to anyone needing our support – including carers and families of people living with dementia.

This is a part time post for 10 hours per week over two days (Thurs, Fri) with core hours of 11am – 4pm at an hourly rate of £11- £13, depending on qualifications /experience.
