Funeral Link is recruiting a Service Manager to lead our team and help us prevent funeral poverty for newly bereaved families facing hardship in our community.
The job description and person specification list the experience and skills required but above all, we need the successful candidate to be an experienced manager, have experience of Trust and Grant funding, have real empathy with our aims and objectives, have financial acumen, whilst being an excellent communicator.
You will understand the impact of financial exclusion, and the challenges faced by those affected by poverty and inequality.
The post is based at our office in Dundee with the opportunity for hybrid office and home working.
Travel throughout the Dundee area will be necessary.
This post is initially for 8 months with potential for extension subject to funding.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced community development worker to lead the Say Something Dundee compassionate communities initiative in Dundee.
We are seeking someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and is passionate about improving openness regarding conversations regarding death, dying, bereavement and care, who can engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
This post will be based at our office in Dundee. Travel throughout the Dundee area will be necessary.
This post is jointly funded by the Lottery Awards for All and the NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund and is fixed term for 12 months.
