Reporting to: Regional Operations Manager
Responsible for: The roles are responsible for the positive leadership, direction and management of 1st Homecare’s Dumfries and Galloway and Edinburgh Services, and for the delivery of strong business financial performance, through the effective and efficient use of all available resources
Remit: As the Registered Manager of the Service, the role holder is tasked with meeting and where possible, exceeding external regulatory requirements, thereby ensuring that all care is delivered to the highest possible standard by a skilled, motivated and client focussed team.
The role also involves working collaboratively with other members of the Service Team in planning, scheduling and implementing individual care and support, with a view to promoting an optimal level of client involvement and independence, therefore supporting the rights and preferences of our Clients at all times.
The post holder must be Registered with the SSSC or be eligible for registration
SVQ Level 4 (in both management and care), or equivalent, or be currently working towards the qualification
Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience within a Care at
Home environment/Community Care is essential.
You will have excellent communication and influencing skills as well strong computer literacy, coupled with in depth knowledge and experience in a health or care setting. Local knowledge of the Dumfries and Galloway/Edinburgh health and care provision challenges would be an added advantage.
