Did you know Edinburgh is the loneliest city in the UK for older people?

Are you the superhero to raise the funds to change this?

If you’re an experienced and energetic fundraiser who wants to be the difference to an award winning charitable partnership, we want to hear from you.

Who are we?

Vintage Vibes is a fresh approach to tackling social isolation in over 60s (VIPs) by creating long lasting friendships and groups based on shared interests – from baking to Battlestar Galactica.

We are a fast-growing charitable partnership between LifeCare Edinburgh and The Broomhouse Centre & Enterprises.

Our VIPs say that we "make them feel human again" and that the volunteers we match them with become their "best friends" and a "shining light" in their lives. And we're gaining recognition - we were a finalist out of hundreds for the UK National Lottery Charity Project of the Year last year and winner of the Best New Intergenerational Project in Scotland.

Could you be the superhero we’re looking for?

Are you a freelance fundraiser with a minimum 3 years of successful experience fundraising from trusts or corporate supporters?

Are you someone with the courage and creativity?

Can you develop and implement a fundraising strategy for a small but very exciting charity project?

Are you a self starter who likes working in a flexible, close knit team, but can independently motivate yourself when needs be?

Are you confident in seeking out and acting on new opportunities?

Do you have an amazing brain that wants to be put to good use doing good?

If so, get in touch. We have a target, we have a budget, we have flexible hours, we welcome home working.

We have made a good start but we need you and your ideas to take us into an even more exciting future.

But how much would I be getting paid?

This is a freelance contract at £10,000 per annum.
