Hemat Gryffe Women’s Aid are seeking to recruit a Digital Media Worker with responsibility for developing and implementing a digital media strategy for the organisation to reflect and promote all aspects of service provision for women, children & young people primarily from a minority ethnic background experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based abuse.

All staff are expected to promote equality and anti-discriminatory practice and to work with women, children, and young people primarily from the minority ethnic community experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based abuse.

Qualification:HND Media Communications

Funder:Scottish Government Delivering Equally Safe Fund. This post is currently funded up to 31st October 2022, with the view that funding is available for a further 2 years.

Womens Outreach & Development Worker

The post is two-fold:

  • To provide information, advocacy, and face to face support to women experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based violence in an outreach capacity (17.5hrs)
  • To provide training and awareness raising in relation to project service provision (17.5hrs)

All staff are expected to promote equality and anti-discriminatory practice and to work with women primarily from the minority ethnic community who may have multiple and complex needs experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based abuse.

Qualification requirements: a relevant SVQ qualification at level 6 or above to meet registration requirements of the SSSC.
