Intandem, Scotland’s mentoring programme for young people brings together vulnerable young people with a mentor to build a consistent and trusting relationship, and improve their chances in life. The Scottish Government has appointed Inspiring Scotland to lead the development of the intandem programme.
Initially the programme will focus on providing mentoring for children and young people aged 8 – 14 years who are looked after at home. Intandem recognises a young person’s need to have at least one long term relationship with a positive adult role-model. The disruption looked after children face can make this difficult to achieve within a family setting.

Your main role will be to work within the Youth Connections Team to develop and deliver an exciting and engaging bike rides and cycling programme including establishing weekly bikes ride sessions, which help achieve Y Sort It’s core values of support, connect and inspire.
As the StreetBikes Cycle Leader your role will be to promote, organise and deliver weekly bike rides and cycling related activities targeting young people aged 10-21 years who are interested in bike rides and cycling adventures. As Cycle Leader you will coordinate and encourage young people wishing to participate in cycle led rides, exploring the local community and beyond.
You will ensure our Streetbikes hub runs efficiently, including helping to maintain our fleet of bikes and cycling equipment, liaising with local partners. In addition you will be expected to contribute to the work of the wide organisation.
